Practitioner Evaluation Toolkit to Assess Sexual Assault Case Processing

The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Practitioner Toolkit provides easy instructions and a statistical program for jurisdictions to evaluate sexual assault case processing and outcomes. The toolkit is designed for jurisdictions to learn how their SANE program affects the prosecution of sexual assault cases in their communities. Download the toolkit instructions, which walk through the basic steps of the evaluation. To request access to the Excel statistical program, email sakitta@rti.org.

Our Mission

Funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative aims to create a coordinated community response that ensures just resolution to sexual assault cases. Through this program, funding is provided to support multidisciplinary community response teams engaged in the comprehensive reform of jurisdictions approaches to sexual assault cases resulting from evidence found in previously unsubmitted sexual assault kits.
