Improving Investigations - Assessing Agency Response to Sexual Violence through SAKI

This virtual presentation for the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) provided an overview and history of the SAKI program, unique sexual assault research it has produced, and what it means to implement sexual assault response reform. The discussion included lessons learned from law enforcement about system response to sexual assault, evidence management, sexual offenders, and victim advocacy strategies for enhancing victim-centered engagement in cold cases. Participants received information and resources developed by SAKI and available for agencies to utilize in improving their agency's response to sexual assault.
